During my Time in congress
During my time in Congress, I served on every Standing and Select Committee. I held the position of Chair and Vice-Chair for several committees and had the honor of being elected as Speaker of Congress for four years.
I held outstanding Congressional Session and Committee attendance records as I was only absent from a Congressional Session/Special Session, three days out of eight years.
I am dedicated and committed to serving our people.
I will always work on improving communication as I have seen firsthand how important it is. I do believe the Osage Congressional office needs to improve communication between Congress and the people. I am dedicated to making that happen as I believe the Congress should obtain their own communications support.
I have supported and sponsored legislation for direct benefits to all Osages; Health, Education and Burial Assistance; as well as legislation for for our language, elders, children, social services, Veterans and will continue to support these needs.
I voted on numerous pieces of legislation that has enabled the growth of our Nation.
Such as: the Osage Nation Ranch and numerous other land purchases, compacting our healthcare so we can expand our healthcare services; multiple gaming expansions so our gaming operations can grow and fund our services, assisted living home for those in need, elder housing, a funeral home and numerous other initiatives to enhance services to our people.
I sponsored legislation to fund the Osage Nation Veterans Memorial. I am an Army Veteran and there are many ways to better serve our Osage Nation Veterans. I am committed to working with the Osage National Veterans Memorial Commission to address many needs to ensure our Veterans understand the benefits they have earned.
